Occupation? (or former occupation): Tried college after HS but duty called and joined US Army at 19. 13B Artillery with the 4th Army based in Germany. Came down on orders for Vietnam but lo and behold, they pulled my orders last minute and I ended up ETSing out of Ft. Carson.
Memories from High School: Honestly I don’t remember much. I wasn’t really involved in any activities maybe cross country. I had a good experience. We win state football championships in 1966 and 1967 I think which was pretty awesome. Everyone was pretty nice and I did have a girlfriend. Michelle “Mickey” Butler.

When I saw the movie “ My All American “ about Freddie Jo I got nostalgic.
More WRHS Memories ... : My twin brother (John) and I switched classes a couple of times and no one caught on. We also switched dates once just for giggles and yes, we got away with that too.

In all honesty, I didn’t take HS very serious and probably should have worked harder to get better grades and get into a good college. But what the hell...I have no regrets and have enjoyed the route I took. For me it was all about new experiences and not getting bored, which I do rather easily.
Higher Ed? Military? First Job? Travels?: Graduated with a BS from Columbia College night school while working FT at Stapleton for United Airlines. Spent 16 years in sales and operations moved to Illinois. Changed career path and went into sales management with Nextel, then Sprint and now T-Mobile. What a cluster but the money was good. Retired in January and looking forward to more travel, some non- profit volunteer work and golfing which I enjoy, especially when I win a few bucks.
What's on your bucket list?: More cruises, Alaska and maybe an Atlantic sailing. Play more golf, enjoy the company of friends and family and meeting people. Still a lot to do but I’m impetuous so who knows what lays ahead.
Tell us about your family: One daughter, Marissa, graduate of Indiana University and a career woman. She is to a married to a West Point graduate and US Army veteran. Also living in Palatine...so we’re happy about that. Both have great careers and make enough to support themselves well...which is nice.

Memories from High School: Playing with slinkys on the stairs with Burke Robinson, Jim Irwin and Randy Choun during our \"planning\" sessions (3rd hour, senior year) as student body officers. Somehow that entered into our \"planning\". Being a letter girl during the state high school football game. That day in the morning was also the SAT test. I really didn\'t care about that. It was all about the game. And yes, my scores reflected that too. Oh well.
