RE: The 2022 Alumni Picnic - - Fantastic - I was thinking about the possibility recently - I wouldn't miss it!!! -- Carol Eckland March
Dear Laurie, Linda and I have a prior commitment and cannot attend this summer. Please say hello to everyone for us. Thank you for all your efforts each year. -- Kerry Hada
I would love to come to the Picnic. I feel like I’m out of the loop. I will put it on my calendar. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. -- Bev [Boyce] Winter
Am living in Colorado. Will do my best to attend the 2022 picnic. -- Mike Dorsey Hi Mike! Thanks for signing the guest book. Hope to see you at the picnic in August. -- Laurie
Always a good time at the annual picnic! I'll be there!
The Website looks so great! Thanks to all of you who are so diligent in keeping it all going. The "slackers" like me really appreciate it! --Judy Johnson (Wolfe)
Getting to help with the reunion has been very special. It allowed me to better know some I never knew, and reacquaint with some I did know. Also after 40 years of not staying in contact with my best high school friend Russ Mallander, we just connected again. WRHS was the positive catalyst in my life, and I am really looking forward to everything in the reunion.
Hey!Hey! Been living on West slope, Grand Junction for 26 years. It's a very pleasant place. It's become more and more urban, but it reminds me of growing up in Wheatridge (just a tad more rural). I've begun having the mortality issues with age. Dreams almost gone. Now realizing the vitality, support and warmth of the family. I've believed in reincarnation for 50 years but who knows what lives we've lived and will live. We were privileged with our education and cultural environment. Thanks, Richard Sander
Hi everyone - I can't wait for the picnic on July 29. Please, everyone who CAN come, please come. Carol Eckland March
The website is so great - thanks to all of you who put in the time & effort. --Carol Eckland March
Laurie, the site looks good. Good work! I have to say, it is sobering how many of us have passed on. Every day is a gift, right?
The new site is FANTASTIC!!!GREAT JOB!!! --Stan

Great Website, You all did a fantastic job. -- Linda (Putnam) Griffin
Hello All, Great Website - thank you for making this possible to keep in touch. -M
Really like the new site...fun to see what so many classmates are up to! We live in Ridgway, CO, but get to Denver frequently to see my 2 year old grand daughter (& her parents of course). My youngest daughter lives in Denver also, and we have one daughter who lives in Perth, Australia. We have traveled to Europe twice with Doug Kline and his wife, Pam & I got a surprise visit from Christy Patrick when she was on one of her camping adventures to our area of Colorado! I play Words with Friends with Rene Oya, but those are about the only high school contacts I have these days. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me..
I found this website and see that I'm Lost in the Fields. Consider me found. Thanks!
Rod Barringer, thanks for reaching out to find me. I live in Elk City, OK with my wife, Joyce, of 44 years. We still have family in Denver area and we make it up there a couple times a year. I don't know about you guys but being able to start taking Social Security this year is a total mind blower!! LOL.
Thanks for finding me, I got lost after the 20th. Looking forward to seeing everybody.
Hi, All So, what have I been doing lately? I guess, growing a bit older and loosing a lot of hair. The good part is that I now comb my hair with a towel when I get out of the shower. Also good is that I finally retired after 45 years of practicing dentistry. And better still, I now tell all my freeloading family members they need to see my brother in law if they have dental problems. (Just joking, I had always been happy to help them) We're still living on Oak Creek just south of Sedona, AZ and raising chickens, turkeys and peacocks. And, between our property and my step mother in law's next door, I've got 4 acres of fruit and shade trees as well as some raised beds for gardening. So I guess I finally grew into becoming like our school's mascot and am now even more of a real life FARMER! Life is good! -- Earl Lord
Hello Christy, My good friend John Styker passed away a few years ago from cancer. Geoff Bjork Sorry to hear about John. We will add him to the class Memorial page. Thank you for letting us know.
Great job! Thanks for the memories, after all, ultimately it's what life is all about.
This is Pete Maki from the class of 67 . After living in Arkansas for the past 15 years, we decided to move to Grand Junction to be close to our grand-children. Good to be back in the state again. Here is our new email. Thank you, Pete Maki Hi Pete! Thanks for the update!
Larry Snodgrass forwarded an email to me that I'm on your lost list. Here's my info so you have one less person to look for! Thank you, Dave (and Larry, too!). One by one, classmates are turning up!
Count me in, lord willing and the creek don't rise of course. -- Bobbi Himes
Really looking forward to seeing everyone and to the festivities!!!
Gary and Denise Griffith will be able to attend some but not all of the 50th Reunion events. We will have a car in the car show. Oooh! Looking forward to seeing your wheels!
Thanks to all of you who spend countless hours planning our events and keeping everyone in touch. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. If I can do anything to help at the reunion, my hand is held up. My best to all, Cherie Thanks for your kind words! We'll see you at the Reunion!
Please note change in my email address. Will be returning from conservation district national meeting in Bismarck, ND at the time of this years picnic so won't be able to attend. Have a great time. -- Gary Thanks for the update, Gary. We'll miss you at the picnic. --Laurie
We will be at the Reunion! We want to bowl and golf and, and and we want to do everything! How about a group to go to Casa Bonita?
Can't wait to see you all at the Reunion!
"I was a member of class 1967. Although I was not lucky enough to graduate with the class, I must admit, I have fond memories of those years. Since high school I found a wonderful husband and father of my children and feel very blessed. I am very interested in learning what's up with everyone. I would like to be involved with any further reunions up-coming."
We've lived here in Sandy, Utah, for over 40 years now, and don't see a move in the foreseeable future. But is the future ever foreseeable? The members of our family all live within 2 hours of us, except our eldest son, Scott, who lives in Tucson, as he is in the Border Patrol down there. We do a lot of things with our family, and spend a lot of time with the grandkids, who range from 24 yrs. down to 10 months old. I think having good neighbors is one of the secrets to enjoying the place where you live! I also wish you an enjoyable time at the reunion next Saturday--it's like the old poem goes, "Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver and the other is gold..." Or something like that! Either way, enjoy your experiences--they do become precious memories! --Louise and Larry Maloy
August 2021 already! Once again my summer travels are booked with Conservation Association work. Heading to Jackson Hole for a summer Southwest/Pacific Regional meeting. Wishing you all well as you celebrate our joint heritage.
Would appreciate updates from my friends! My only update is spending alot of time with great-niece now 12. Hope to hear soon. Been out of touch for a long time. --Jack
Moved back to the Denver area (from Estes Park) to be closer to family. Thanks for the recent info on Freddie Steinmark.
Great website. See everyone Sept 30th for Freddie tribute. Memories of him for me go back to Wilmore Davis Elementary School through WRHS. Nice job Bower putting this together. November movie will be a must see for my 13 year old Grandson who plays football in Arvada.
Really cool things happening at WRHS, I am proud of our class:).

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend, I have had a paralyzingly condition that has left me paralyzed from the waist down, even though I am recovering slowly and I might walk again it is just way too difficult to get around and with all the activities you have planned I would not be able participate and I am not the kind of man who likes just to be stuck in the corner and watch the world go by. Thanks anyway, Skip
I plan on attending, looking forward to it. -- Larry Snodgrass
Hi, This is Gary Osborn. Class of 67 I now live in Loveland. Married for 35 years and have 1 Grand Daughter. I hung out with Cleve Hammond and Andy and Bobby Pietrafeso all through High School. Cleve sent me an email and said I was one of the missing. Not so. -- Gary Welcome back, Gary! We knew you weren't really missing, just that we couldn't find you. Thanks for updating your current email.
I will not be attending. I am recovering from cancer and am unable to travel. Good news "0" malignancy in my recent PET CT Scan. Bad news I was left with side affects of fatigue ( thank goodness sleep is a great healer), neuropathy and overall weakness. Prayers are gladly accepted with great gratitude. Hope the Farmers have a great time! Georgia Heuring Sample
Hi, I see you have me lost in the fields. While I may be lost, I am still among the living, so please put me in the correct category. Thanks, Bart J. Hartman Welcome Bart! Glad to know you are still kicking! What else have you been doing? Send us an update for the Classmate Profiles. Happy New Year from your WRHS'67 webmaster!
The Reunion plan looks great. Unfortunately, I will be in Ireland on the dates of the reunion. I have a walk in life, that I am sure others would be surprised by. Presently, I am the Prioress (Mother Superior) of a Benedictine community in Colorado Springs. I love my community and I love the profession I have been practicing over these past 16 years as a psycho-therapist. I have lived this life as a nun, for over 43 years. My community is located in the Black Forest area, just east of the Air Force Academy. If you are in the area, I hope you will drop by. I hope all will go well with your plans. Blessings, Clare Carr OSB
Congratulations to us on 50 years!! How can it be so?!?! I wish I could meet up again and visit, but my sister Joan (class of '69) had already planned a Viking river cruise on the Danube. Actually, she had planned it with her husband Jim who died last October so I bought his ticket. I hope you post some video of the music concert on this website so I can watch it - I sure hate to miss it!! -- Eileen
