I took several college courses over many years and finally got a bachelors for my efforts. We just had our 26th anniversary. Our twins (boy and girl) are 16 and will be Seniors next year at Winter Springs High School, Winter Springs, Florida (northeast of Orlando about 20 miles). I stayed in Colorado (Thornton) until we moved to Florida in April of 2003 for my work. I have been a service technician on computerized machines for the past 33 years. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat. The hurricanes can be a real pain but I can wear shorts almost every day of the year. We seem to get along with the heat and humidity much better than we did with the cold and snow. I still stay in touch with Cleve Hammond, Andy Pietrafeso and Jack Chamberlin via e-mail on a weekly basis. I still can't believe it's been 40 years. I was almost in the Class of '68 because Cleve and I wouldn't go to class every day! 2016-07-06 12:45:50
July 2016 UPDATE:
I now live in Loveland. Married for 35 years and have 1 Grand Daughter.
I hung out with Cleve Hammond and Andy and Bobby Pietrafeso all through
High School. Cleve sent me an email and said I was one of the missing.
Not so. --Gary

San Jose WRHS'67 just received a phone call from Alfonso -- He says Hello to all! He is now retired from teaching law at the University of Costa Rica. He is planning to come to the 50th Reunion in September 2017. For a long time I have been an attorney and a teacher, and have enjoyed every minute of them both. I love to travel and cook, do it better on the first one, but there is always time to improve. As said I am an attorney. The hightlight of my high school days in Wheat Ridge was when Mr. Truglio gave me a C in spanish for having too much fun. 2016-07-02 21:46:59

Phoenix AZ 2 I'm living a dream. I remarried in 1994 to Suzanne Gammage and am living happily ever after. My daughter Tia, now 38, married the prince and has three children, Chloe (8), Charlie (7) and Hannah (almost 3). My son Andy, 36, is a former Marine Corps Drill Instructor (Parris Island) who now lives a mile from us and works in the radio business. He has a son Nicolas, 10, who lives with the ex Mrs. Andy in Connecticut. Being a grandparent is the BEST! I read, write, travel, fly fish, off-road (Jeep!), cook, laugh a lot and play golf. All the time. Copywriter. I don't think I'll ever be able to retire from this -- it's too much fun! There are so many, and so many of you are involved, and if you remember the same things I do, isn't it great when you hear a song or catch a scent of something that sends you back there for a minute? What a great place to have grown up, and what a great school. No, because they'd then tell tales on me and that just wouldn't do. I know nothing. 2016-07-02 21:41:59

Boulder CO Married 2 I have been married to classmate Ernie Eason since 1969. We have two sons, David and Eric, who both graduated from CU and Stanford University. Over the last 50 years I have earned 3 college degrees: in Anthropology, in Museum Studies, and an MBA; worked for museums, non-profits, city government, and the family business; lived in Boulder, Toronto, the San Francisco Bay area, Phoenix, and again in Boulder; and raised kids while I balanced bookkeeping and homeschooling. When the boys were younger Ernie and I were involved in Scouting and doing lots of outdoors activities: camping, hiking, scuba diving, skiing, canoeing, sailing. My hobby is watercolor painting, and now that the nest is empty, I am gardening, reading science fiction, and remodeling our house. I am the entire administrative staff for Ernie's engineering consulting firm, Modeling & Computing Services. I also serve on the Board of our small water district. The Senior Class Prank in response to Mrs. Nolan's almost daily reminders to "SENIORS, WAKE UP!" Although the alarm clocks did disrupt classes for a few minutes, the administration made more noise for a much longer time opening all of the lockers to remove the clocks! 2016-07-02 19:20:20

Boulder CO Married 2 I married classmate Laurie Parker in 1969, studied at CU, U of Toronto, and UC Berkeley (PhD in Mechanical Engineering), and we have two sons both earned graduate degrees from Stanford: David (mechanical engineering) and Eric (applied physics). We did the dual career path for many years, then started our family as the clock was running out, but we have really enjoyed our path - never a dull moment! We might even live long enough to be grandparents. We are kind of outdoorsy/backpacky people who also like the arts, sciences, literature and music. We have done a fair amount of hiking, sailing, and skiing, and recently scuba, hunting & fishing, rafting & canoeing with the boys. If our aging bodies and minds allow, we will probably keep trying something new as long as we live. I was Scoutmaster for several years while both boys were active in Scouts (both earned Eagle!), then I got really interested in astronomy and flying planes. I have continued playing Trombone, currently in the Denver Concert Band and a brass quintet (that is me at the right in the photo of the Columbine Brass). Still working as a Mechanical Engineer and number cruncher, specializing in analysis and mathematical modeling of the failure of engineering materials. I spent almost a decade as a 'Failure' at Failure Analysis Associates, Inc. where I investigated a number of accidents and failures, including the breakup of the external tank of the Challenger Space Shuttle. For the last 30 years I have run my own engineering consulting firm and have done mainly research on degradation of materials for clients in several countries. I have many good memories, but a favorite is playing in the WRHS Symphonic Band under Larry Wallace. That was my best musical experience ever, and a great bunch of people. How about the guys who dressed up in tutus and danced ballet for the WRHS variety show? 2016-07-02 19:15:20

Aurora CO Married 2 Still married to the same great guy for 36 years! We have no grandchildren but that seems to bother us more than our kids. Neither one have yet to get married or seem to be in any rush to do so. Number of children: 2 Travel and Golf I promised my husband I'd work until I was 60. I must be crazy but since I only work 3 days a week (Tues, Wed & Thur) it isn't so bad. I've worked for State Farm for the last 8 years and having the days off that I do it gives us a lot more time to travel. Youth! But being over 50 isn't so bad! Older and wiser as they say. 2016-07-02 18:09:27
